Sergio Torres-Letelier is a Visual Media Composer, Arranger and Professional Drummer, born in Concepcion Chile. Currently Living in Los Angeles, CA.

 

He’s passion about music not only involves drums and South American traditional music, but to understand and study music from around the world. He believes that all this items and genres combined will create a strong and innovated sound palette to his compositions, arrangements and Performances

.

Sergio attended the prestigious “Escuela Moderna de Musica” (Santiago, Chile) where he got a Performance Professional Diploma (Drum Set) with Honors in 2010. That same year, he got accepted into acclaimed Berklee College of Music and finished a Degree in Film Scoring with a Minor in Conducting for Film & TV. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2015.
 
Sergio also has a very strong sense of fraternity with his fellow musicians and he is constantly creating online interviews and meetings in both the US and Chile, to share his musical ideas and experience. This matter took him to be name as a “Berklee Ambassador”. Sergio is the Creator of the “Chilenos en Berklee” Facebook group. A group that provides all types of assistance and information in Spanish to any prospect musician who is willing to attend Berklee College of Music.

 

Currently He is developing the “Film Scoring Collective” a Los Angeles, CA. based group that will meet, not only to appreciate and discuss the Film Industry, but to assist and to collaborate within the Film Scoring process among memebers.

 

Sergio’s musical experience is broad. From private Piano and Drum set instructor to Harmony and Musical Theory Professor. A strong Film Composer for short films such as” Charlie & Poppy” to Studio Musician (Percussion). He also is an Arranger, Music conductor and Producer of Festivals and Master Classes.

 

His vision is to become an integrate artist of the American Film Industry and to educate and make Film Music accessible to all audiences, as well as to be an active memeber of the Latin film industry.
